Mike Joyce

Raised by both a Realtor and a Home Inspector, Mike became a licensed realtor himself in 2017 to gain a better work-life balance after serving in the hospitality industry for over 15 years as a bartender, bar manager, and restaurant manager. His experience in hospitality is easily recognizable in his people-first approach when working with clients, easing their minds during what is always a milestone moment in their lives. As a realtor, Mike accompanied his clients on every home inspection, and "home inspection day" quickly became his favorite part of the process. He found that he loved the personal interactions between inspector, realtor, and client as well as the investigative work where he found previously untapped passion.

Mike gained the necessary skills and education to pass the National Home Inspection Exam to become a Licensed Home Inspector in the State of Ohio in 2023. As a Certified Professional Inspector with the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), Mike focuses on continued education and the latest tools and trends available in the industry. When he's not inspecting homes, he is spending quality time with his wife and two children while cheering on their favorite Cleveland sports teams. Now a 2nd generation Realtor AND Home Inspector, Mike prides himself on upholding the same high standards set forth by his father, a retired home inspector, and is beyond ecstatic to retain the family business, Joyce Home Inspections.
